Alright, I’ve been holding this for quite awhile now, and I think I should do it before I decide not to do it altogether.
Well, for every start, there’s a end! So yes, my work at Shangri-La is over!
But it’s so… Sad, that they had to cheat me of my pay just because I’m careless.
Okay, maybe I deserve, but still!
I worked for 58 hours, if I calculated correctly, and they only gave me 52 hours of pay. So, meh. One day of pay gone. Grawr.
Damn you Shang!
But still, I met people like Iris-jie, Lillian-jie, etc.
So I mean, I left it on a relatively happy note, so I’m not too upset over that!
I earned less than 1k this year, though. Like around 800? So yeah, I’m happy about that! Can recoup some of the spending across the year, ie. China trip.
And yeah, Shang last year was kinda… Interesting. I mean, a lot of things happened, and a lot of things didn’t happen.
Relationships improved, relationships de-proved.
Oh well, that’s life right! At least now everything is kinda cleared out, and I think the mentioned would know who she is.

Anyway, Shang was quite an enjoyable experience, and I doubt that we would be going back next year, since the guys are having NS. Maybe the girl would? [I wanted to say girls, but there’s only one. So, ya. Girl. Oops. Haha!]
I also forget to return a shirt. Oops. Don’t tell them!
So that’s it for Shang. OHOH, I also broke my watch there. The LCD screen of it is like, cracked. And it happened on the same day when I took my pay and got cheated.
Damn. Wasn’t a good day.
Anyway, I took $300 of those moneh, and I got myself… A DIGITAL KEYBOARD/ARRANGER!
Its like, a year old or something, and it’s a Yamaha PSR-E413. Quite awesome for its price. I wasn’t really particular whether it was used or not, since keyboards are like, electrical. So I think it’s okay?
Compared to a guitar, where got the wood stuff and whatnot.
Okay, maybe I don’t know much about keyboards yet either. So I think its quite a good deal! I mean, I got it for $300. I should indicate!
13th September: Induction of my E413!
Yes, its mine now, and I used my money that I earned, so its also technically mine! :D!
I’ve been wanting to learn for like, ages. I mean, it was my preferred instrument of choice, so now that I got it, I’m going to learn how to play it!
It’s going to be hard, but hey, I had to lug this giant-7kg beast from Upper Thomson up till my house!
And ah… Going back to Upper Thomson really brought back memories.
As an indication on how long I have not gone to Upper Thomson, would be that I didn’t even know that 410 travelled a different path now!
When I was on it, I was like, “Whoa, this is not right. It’s not going in the right direction, it turned at Marymount. Oh no, I’m already late somemore! Would this take me to where I thought it would?!?”
So fortunately, it still did. And yes, I recognize the place so well, that I can even navigate if you just tell me what shop you’re at.
Except, the whole row of shops changed, and I can’t even recognize them now! Which is kinda sad.
Now I know how it feels like to have your childhood area getting replaced.
Sigh.
Anyway, I went to the buyers house, and it was just beside the playground! Which was so awesome. Memories abound! Where I learned how to bike, and while biking a dog chased me, and I pedaled faster until like a gina siao, and then I learnt how to bike.

So I waited outside his house, because it was like, not nice to go in. HE had two cars lined up outside somemore. Like the wow only.
And I know it’s the right house because I can see the E413 from the outside!
So finally, I went in and like, he took it out to let me inspect abit. Then okay, deal done!
I took a picture of him as well. His user is “crashinghearts” on Soft.sg, a musician site for Singaporeans.
I never got his real name though, hmmm. Oh well!
So I had to hug it back home. Because the box had no handles. And yes, it was like, 7kg as stated on the Yamaha website. Somemore got stand and what what.
So HUZZAH! After much hardwork, I got it back home, and I expected my mum to make noise about the space.
But hey, she didn’t! Also, my dad didn’t make any noise, so yay! Mission success! My new “toy” in my room!
I’ve been trying to play “Fur Elise” at such a slow tempo, and soooo off tune. And I still can’t even get it right!
Its so much more harder than learning how to play the Guitar, For sure.
I mean, like, the learning curve for guitar is like, exponential, but Piano is like, linear. AND IT STARTS FREAKING HIGH!

But, BUT! I will persevere! I won’t let this get me down! Its an instrument I always wanted to play, so yes, I will work hard at it!
So what happened the few weeks…
Oh! I also am okay with a certain person now. Thanks to another certain person that I had to clarify with, and thus making her so much more confused and stuff
But hey! Now you know what’s going on! Crazy girl.
And from there, we have spawned a new idea that we’re going to do!
[I hope the intended person isn’t seeing this. Does she know my blog?! D:!]
So I’ve gotten myself busy these few days/weeks already. And I don’t mind the lack of time! :D!
Okay, I do abit, especially not spending time with mah famaleh, which is bad. But… I’ll still find time for them!
Anyways, before drifting too far off, it looks like on the 17th of September, something awesome happened!
Such a wonderful sight, watching both of them having a photoshoot! Indeed, I think its kinda funny as well, that 2 close[best?] friends are taking photos of another 2, best, and inseparable, friends.
I thought my appearance could cut down the cost, but looks like it didn’t! Ah wells, I tried!
But yeah, the sight of both of them, I mean, I’ve seen friendships make and break, but hey, both of them, I think its so damn, freaking awesome. Like, you could really see them and their… like, bond. You could actually see and feel it!
I think the photographers did as well. Haha, I decided not to go and disturb them, but instead, took care of the bags to ensure nothing went missing!
My appearance would just make it all the more awkward anyway. Haha!
But seriously, when they wanted to take a photo with me, I also dunno how to react lah. I mean, I wasn’t here to crash! I just came to pass the guitar, and the slippers, which was brought even though there was a fierce rejection to.
Grawr.
But yeah, I’m glad I was there. I mean, I have always been fascinated by photography, and to see it coming alive, I mean, that’s awesome!
Okay, maybe not photography, I’m more of a videography person, but still, its all the same! Like, how they take, and how they angle their shots and whatnot.
Just seeing them putting their all into their passion is kinda… Like, invigorating. I mean, I’ve to admit, I’ve lost my motivation along the way coming into holiday mode. And I needed to find something to spark me back up and learn stuff again!
And after this shoot, I mean, they only had a timespan of 2 hours, and its not because it’s the limit or what, but its like, after 2 hours, the sun went down and there’s no more light to take already!
Even the sunset shot was such a short timeframe. Everything had to be perfect before it went down, if not, they would have to waste another day to get it, and it won’t be the same anymore!
So… Yeah. I mean, one day I’m going to be like Wong Fu! Like, seriously, I’ve been obsessed about “Wong Fu Productions” recently. I think its pretty awesome for 3 guys to do so much!
And I also like to dwell in my music. So maybe like, a Tyler Ward kind of thing?
I dunno. But I think neither would happen. I don’t think I can live with such insecurities. Better to get a stable job.
A hobby will stay as a hobby!
And for now, I can pursue them to the max! So that’s what I shall do! Starting from Monday, I hope to chiong my “Keyboard” and get some nice shots down. So in the end, I can get a nice compilation!
Actually, I have another idea, but different people. Should I do it? Then I’d be seriously up to my neck with stuff to do.
And no, I’m not a good cinematographer. Like, this would be the first one I’d ever be doing? So I want to to be relatively acceptable would be fine for me already.
No more slide shows! That’s so… Secondary school. Now we act it out!
We have ironed out a plan already, and we got a DSLR. So all we have to do is act it out, and get the shots down. Problem is, she’s not always free, whilst I am. Maybe I should go shoot some of the scenes by myself?
Hmm, well, we need to get the concept down as well.
BUT THE HARROWING THOUGHT IS THAT, THERE’S ONLY 2 WEEKS LEFT.

Finding a song is also hard.
Garrrrrgh. But I believe it’ll all come out fine! That’s how everyone starts out right! Need to start from somewhere! Then later it’s a hit worldwide!

Yes, let me dwell in my fantasies awhile kind. ._.
And gah, I doubt I’d be able to compose a piece on my keyboard anytime soon so I don’t need to find a song.
I mean, if I’d to use the guitar, I could do it, but it isn’t as impactful as having a piano piece!
Argh. But I believe we can find a good song to suit the video!
I don’t even know how long it’ll be either, or like how are we going to execute it.
Okay, I have a rough idea on how we’re going to execute it, but I the props and stuff is going to be a hassle again!
And I dunno if my idea is good enough anot also. I hope the “Crazy girl” would also know what she wants, and whether what we’re doing is good enough for her.
I mean, I can kinda understand what she’s going through? I mean, I had my Sis fly off also, and I bet it’s the same for her!
Simultaneously, I also can feel how is the flying-off girl feeling. 1 month in China is enough to make me feel abit… You know. Homesick? Homesick’s not the right word.
I mean like, at there, you have to let go of everything here, and accept whatever that’s there, and what you have.
And sometimes, putting down your friends, and letting them go is the hardest thing you can do. Especially if she’s your bestest friend in the whole wide world.

Ahaha, but I’m also going to do the same as her soon, so ya. I mean, totally can feel ya, girl.
And thus, if you’re wondering why I’m doing so much for like, her, there’s no underlying motive, but I just want her to have the best memories here before leaving for a better[?] future, at a whole new area with new friends!
At least she’s halfway there, like her accent and her language is powerful enough to blend in. Let’s just hope nothing unfortunate happens to her!
Maybe she’ll come back like Mrs. Soh! Then teach English in Secondary Schools. Haha!
Okay, I think I’ve written a little too much. I can keep going and going, on and on. When my fingers start, they don’t stop!
So I’d end here. I dunno what else to add. I mean, I have stuff to add, but its all in different categories and very random stuff. So if I add them, there’d be no flow whatsoever, and it’ll most likely frustrate you. Haha!
